Meals standing
Kikka often chooses to feed while standing, saves her from
the worst scratches from the little sharp nails.

week 5, a sack of fleas...
This week confidence will take no end. New things are introduced every day, such as vacuum cleaner and other "household mashinery" noises. These 2 girls have other and more important things to worry about...
Such as...who's going to be the boss? Can we corner Mom and get an extra meal out of her? Is there anything we forgot to investigate today? Did I practice running and jumping for long enough? etc.
Nothing seems to bother them in the least. Kikka is still feeding, and the puppies are very hard on her, they have little teeth now, and they bite and scratch when they suck.
Kikka takes more breaks away from them, but is extremely interested in participating in their games, especially if they involve toys, she is trying to show them how it's done.

Please be adviced, that we might take a few days on responding to e-mails from friends and family.
We thank You for Your patience.
We do currently not respond to new puppy inquiries.

The puppies
Trying to describe these 2 as different personalities is very hard to do, because they are surprisingly very, very similar and even with each other. But here't goes, the best we can do to explain tiny differences:
Calamity Jane is sweet, cuddly, loving and free spirited, wants to be where everything is going on, and responds fast to being called. She is a bit more conscientious when it comes to her potty training, than her Sister, and she is perhaps also slightly better at settling down. But do not get this wrong, because "CJ" is pretty much 200 miles an hour, unless she sleeps.
Annie Oakley is slightly more a comedian than her Sister, always with that little trouble maker "look" out the corner of her eye. She does not take no for an answer, and believes she can and may do whatever she wants any time. nothing scares her, she barks back at whatever shakes her, with no hesitation. Yet she is sweet, kissy and very excitable around all people, just like her Sister, added just a tad more "tom-boy".

We have to say, that already at this time, it is very obvious, that neither one of these 2 are slacking in any way...they both lead each other on and into trouble all the time.
Both girls have been watching TV, they know exactly how to follow the pictures on the screen and tilt their heads at the sounds. A very delightful pair!

play in the box
To Kikka they are a handful now
Even when put to bed at night, they deny slowing down

Cover the floors!!!
We thought that with "only" 2 puppies, it would be less necessary to cover the carpets, as we'd be able to easily keep an eye on 2. Think again!
This week started with placing the lenoleum again, and "puppy prove" the house, because there is no way, that even 2 adult people, can keep track of both these 2 busy gals at the same time. NO way!

Being out and about in the house is now such a fancy, that sleeping at night is a time of the past. Both puppies wake up at un-Godly hours and wants out to play...at that time, no-one in the house gets more sleep period!

Looking innocent
Who's being difficult? Not us, we're just 2 cute and innocent little puppies!

Tired Kikka feeding
