Kikka and puppies (week 7b, 2006)

Kikka still feeding
Sometimes she won't, but she still gives in
Kikka does more and more decide to say no to feed, but she still can't quite let go.

7 weeks old
We decided to get puppy-shots done a week early this time, given the opportunity to have a bunch of strange doggies visit for some socialization.
To no surprise both girls are very healthy, and at first, they thought it was a hoot to get a bunch of attention at the vet. But yukk...they are spoiled so badly, they held up getting their shots, but once they got their chips injected, the vet's place was no longer fun.
Maddy, who doesn't like vets either, was along, and cuddled inside the crate with them afterwards on the way home...she understood fully, and supported them when they needed her strength most!

Please be adviced, that we might take a few days on responding to e-mails from friends and family.
We thank You for Your patience.
We do currently not respond to new puppy inquiries.

There are other doggies?
Getting shots is OK, when it opens up for new experiences!
The girls met 2 strange Farmdogs...they knew they sort of looked the same, as what they are used to seeing, but yet, they were not Maddy or Kikka. Cousin Greta came to see them, and she and the puppies were very interested in one another.
Also Bailey visited, and him and Kikka re-united in their usual "sibling games" (even though they are not family, they act like it), which gave space for Greta to play with Kikka's pups.
And another couple of VERY different looking dogs also visited...Max and Griz. Griz will actually be Annie Oakley's new "big Sis", so it was interesting to see the 2 meet for the first time. They will for sure get much joy out of one another.

We know we're special!
7 weeks old, and ready to take on the world.

And more visits
Not only did we get in some good and positive doggie socialization, but also all sorts of different people came to visit.
Carol visited and Brita came along, to see her "Grandchildren". Greta's "people Mom" and "people puppy", as well as Griz' people Mom and Lill were also here...it was one busy weekend in the 2 little girls' lives.

They are very impressive, a full house, people and dogs, does not bother them in the least, in fact, they are really acting like they are already very experienced in life, and deal with all new situations, as if they were at least 2 weeks older, than they are.

Maddy moving in
A typical evening event...
Maddy comes to sleep near the puppies...

Kikka snuggles along
And a new concept...
The puppies decided to move closer, which she doesn't seem to mind at all...
She just turned around, trying not to appear too interested...sure Maddy!
