Greta's puppies' at 3 weeks

Now that the puppies can see much better, and stay on their feet much better, they are fine tuning all skills through play, play and play.
They still have short sessions of being awake, and sleep a lot, but all the time they are awake, they play and tumble. 4-5 times a day they are eating puppy mush, and getting much better at it too.
Greta insists on trying to feed her puppies, right when it is time for their puppy mush, something we have had some of the same issue about, when Maddy has had puppies.
Greta also hangs out with the pups to play with them, all part of the up-bringing!
Of the pictures in the right margin the top 4 are from the day the puppies were exactly 4 weeks old. The rest below those are from about mid-week.
Please do not inquire about this litter, they already have homes waiting for them.

Some little personalities shaping
|
Again, when writing about the puppies personalities at this tender age, it is a snap-shot of a current picture, which will change in moments. The personality descriptions therefore have to be taken with a grain of salt, they are just fun observations, which we know everybody following these puppies, enjoys to follow along with.
So far it seems like the females rule! Both of the boys seem mellow, Kit Carson extremely mellow, the one who sleeps the most and always eats first and most. Evans is full of spunk, but apparently content to let the females call the shots.
The girls are "forward" and little Sunlight has made everything her business. Leave it to her to observe new blankets, piddle pads, and newspapers being put in place, and feel a need to help arranging things, while her big sister could care less. Sunlight is also the one walking the inside ledges of the box, looking to get out one of these days!
All the puppies enjoy being held and to cuddle!
