These 5 do have a tough time getting enough space. While still having some warm days around, they can be outside for 2-3 hours, and hardly ever slow down. Then a siesta and lunch, and soon they are ready to "go" again.
The games are rough against each other, very rough, and there is a pecking order with not much slack allowed within for anybody, or puppy justice is executed!
Inside they can really do some damage as a pack now, and so as much as we can get them to run themselves tired outside, we let them.
In the back yard everything is "game"...whatever catches one's interest, will have the obsession of all. While having roof repair, every little piece of debris fallen into the back yard turned out to have importance.
The pictures here are showing some of the "fancies" going around in a day. If it's not an old torn tennis ball, it's an old plastic straw. The idea is less the actual play with some of the items as a toy, and much more who is above who, and who is stronger than who, to be able to ultimately conqueror the "treasure". They play for fun, but also for a reason!
Involving herself in every one of their little games is their Mother Kikka. She is the referee of every chase, tug, wrestle and fight, and will interfere with "the almighty paw" and her choppers around someone's neck, until her type of order has been re-instilled.
Around and about, outside, yet in the middle, floats aunt Maddy. She is still enjoying the puppies a lot, and is not at all as judgemental and firm as their Mother. From the very first crack of dawn, Maddy is the self employed alarm clock, and cannot wait to see the puppies it seems. So she wakes up the pups, which then (loudly!) wake up the rest of the house.
She involves herself in the games, when she wants to, plays a little bit like a silly puppy, and then walks off and lets Kikka fix the internal issues stuff.
Once the pups finally do settle down, she still seems to enjoy settling down with them.

6 lbs, 2725 g still Donald, and going to GA
Little Denmark's Delightful Daphne
5 lbs 6 1/2 oz, 2445 g keeps her name Daphne and going to CO
Little Denmark's Deluxe Dudley Do-Right
5 lbs 3 oz, 2350 g now known as Hobbes, and going to VA
Little Denmark's Delovely Dory
5 lbs 7 oz, 2460 g keeps her name Dory, going to MI to be little Sis to Little Denmark's Cheyenne, AKA Scout
Holding the fort of his treasure
Then comes Donald, trying to win the old torn ball
And Donald wins
Dory and Daphne fighting to win the old torn ball
And the winner is Daphne
This little dude just LOVES this torn ball
and he has to run with it all the time, or the others will take it away
Such as Sister Dory...

Then Kikka dives in for some justice work
